Kemal Deveci and Aziz Kahraman present the complete musical ritual of the Cypriot wedding for the zourna and the dauli, reconstructing an ancient sound world deeply connected to the collective memory and social life of Cyprus. The two masters are considered to be among the last living musicians who still perform the old Cypriot repertoire of the zourna and dauli as it was played before it was altered by post-1974 admixtures.
